It is certainly possible to feed a family of four on your made up budget of 320 a month you just refuse to believe it.
Tell me Whiner how much have you given to your local food bank this year?
I don't believe in charities. I pay taxes, those taxes should help the poor, not the rich.
We aren't going to fix the system by dropping off a few cans around christmas.
Yeah, if you want them to eat like third world children.
You can't feed a family of four on $320 a month (the average SNAP benefit).
Food Stamped : A Documentary Film by Shira & Yoav Potash
Then how do people do it every day? There are many many people who feed their families on 320 a month.
And you don't give to charities but I'm selfish.
OK.
And food is food. nutrition is nutrition.
Oatmeal for breakfast is just fine
Rice and beans are good for you
One can buy whole chickens for $1.50 a pound
There are frozen vegetables in every supermarket for little money
I guarantee you I could feed a family of four a varied and nutritious menu for 320 a month
