Impeachment Questions...

No, they cannot.
False. They absolutely can punish a private citizen by barring him from holding office, when they are convicting him of a high crime committed while in office.

Well, therein lies the question, and it's a question which, ultimately, still needs to be resolved.

In the end, it's all academic. They won't be able to punish him simply because they lack the votes required for a conviction.

The democrats are spinning their wheels, trying to look important and, in the end, will prove to be failures a second time...

True. But they can use the process to show that they are willing to take such charges to trial, and to let the court of public opinion litigate the matter. Remember when the GOP said what Trump did was wrong, but the voters should decide? (At the last impeachment). Welp, the voters did. Strangely, many of the GOPers reneged on that, haha

Biden needs to be the finest President this country has ever seen if he wants to be re-elected in 2024 (assuming he hasn't died or already put out to pasture). He's already screwing over thousands of Americans. Jobs have been lost, gas prices are skyrocketing and he's governing in exactly the manner he was critical of, relying on executive orders.

"There are things you can’t do by executive order unless you are a dictator. We’re a democracy, we need consensus.”

The first two weeks of his presidency show no indication that he's all to concerned about a consensus on anything...

We have already seen that the most unpopular President in history can get 74 million votes. If the 2024 GOP candidate runs on Trumpism, he or she will be defeated. It has been rejected.

Now what comes into play, and this is a major factor, is the fact that the United States Senate cannot punish a private citizen. Even if convicted, a very definite argument can be made that Donald Trump is immune from punishment by the Senate by virtue of the simple fact that he is now a private citizen.

Jurney v. MacCracken, 294 U.S. 125 (1935), was a case in the Supreme Court of the United States

MacCracken filed a petition of habeas corpus with the federal courts to overturn his arrest, but, after litigation, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Congress had acted constitutionally, and denied the petition

After a one-week trial on the Senate floor (presided over by the Vice-President of the United States, acting as Senate President), MacCracken, a lawyer was found guilty and sentenced to 10 days imprisonment.

Didn't you put everything Reverend Wright said on Obama?

Um, actually no, I didn't. See I hold people responsible for what they actually do...

Atlas was one of Trump's advisers. He represents the President of the United States you fucking idiot!

He did not, in any way represent Trump. He was an advisor to Trump and nothing more. He certainly isn't "Republican leadership".

But you're an ignorant shitbag, so you wouldn't know that and simply regurgitate what mildly more intelligent idiot libs tell you to say...
Even if don jr did it you wouldn’t blame trump so whatever. Ya lost. Piss off

We should at least try. Why? So he may never hold public office ever again.
Do you distrust allowing the voters of America deciding if Trump ever holds office again?

He's a lib.

Don't lose sight of the fact that libs are unable to exercise individual thought, deferring to what their leadership instructs them to think...
Well your leadership lied to you and said the election was stolen and you swallowed it so...
