If victims of abuse become abusers, if the bullied become bullies, can a Jew ever become a Fascist/Nazi-type? Offensive? Is truth ever offensive, or is it just how one wants to conveniently see things? I ask, only because as somebody who for most of his life was just about Israel right or wrong -- on her side; somebody who for most of his life always felt the need to give Jews a "special pass" on just about everything...

I believe some of you know where this is going, and I suspect most of you will just make it out to be something it is not. Arguing over what it is meant to be about will only hijack a seriously needed discussion.

A seriously needed discussion. Is that even possible today, and was it ever so?

But Israel is not a fascist state.

I don't believe Israel is a fascist state, and if you believe that is what I was or am claiming, you are in error.

Now I do make distinctions between Israel, her people, and the current government. Nuance helps sift through the wheat
