Because the oil and gas companies have no interest in flooding the market to bring down prices . They would be spending more to drill and taking in less revenue. 1. Border security will still cost, but have you factored in the loss of GDP and inflation caused by wage increases?

2. We are already at what economists call full employment. How would a reduction in the labor force affect that.

3. Oil companies are not incentivized to lower prices and profits by a drill drill drill political viewpoint. Additionally they already have 10K unused leases on the books.

The first is the misleading claim that the military cannot be lethal and also diverse and inclusive. There is no evidence to show we cannot have both, but it is presented as if you can’t.

The second is that this parrots what Hegsworth has said about infusing “masculine energy” into the military and being more lethal.

According to Hegsworth, that means no women in combat, it means disregarding tbe Geneva Conventions and our rules of engagement, it means we shouldn’t care about killing civilians, and those of our soldiers convicted of war crimes or similar misconduct should not be prosecuted.

The right appears to want a military much like that of Russia. We saw, in agonizing detail, what happened to civilians in Ukraine. This appears what our new leadership admires. What they call “masculine energy” … a LETHAL military.

I always thought our military WAS lethal. Apparently this has been redefined to include war crimes.
