It makes sense that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The reason this makes sense is that Jesus is the Word of God. People of the Jewish faith follow God's word, His commandments and His wisdom. It is through these words you come to know God. Words are powerful, and too many of us have lost sight of--or disregard--the power of words.
This leads to a passage too many Christians never bother with: Jesus said just as a physician doesn't go around tending the healthy, but those who ail, he did not come to tend those right with God, but those who are not. I suggest any Christian who hassles any Jew should be told, "You are not yet among those who are right with God--you better go seek Jesus. I understand he came to help those who are not right with God."
