No. The Texas vs. White decision was not a decision over the legality of secession. I have asked here before, to show me where and how secession was argued before the Supreme Court. And the decision of the Supreme Court concerning secession.

You need two sides to argue. You need a verdict, a ruling from the judges declaring the legality or illegality of secession.
