Sorry, but Serbia's empire desires were first nixed by the Croats and Bosnians back in the early 90's.

Kosovo didn't want to be part of Serbia anymore.

People in Donbass don't want to be part of Ukraine anymore, i don't buy this was part of some humanitarian concern for people in Serbia, it was Imperial aggression like i said the first among a number of others, it also blew the myth away of Nato being a defensive alliance.

Some people In Donbass, mostly the ethnic Russians brought in during decades of Russification that was started under Stalin.

Bosnian Muslims and Croats wanted out but they used violence to get it when they could have followed the constitution, the Croats told the Serbs like it or lump it, well the Serbs remembered what happened when Croatia was a Nazi puppet state when hundreds of thousands were murdered by the Croats and they were not going to have it again, i take it you do know the history from WW2?

The Serbs have been wanting to be in charge of a greater Slav nation since the early 1900's. It's what got us World War I and everything that followed.

Plenty of other countries kowtowed to the Nazis, and they got their punishment by being stuck under the Soviets for 3 generations.
