Serious bodily injury or death must be imminent. That means going to happen right now.
Ashley Babbit was far from the cop who shot her unarmed and not even aware of him. There is no imminent threat. The cop has history of negligent gun management and is now indicted fir welfare fraud. In my opinion this was a negligent discharge due to poor gun management. That would make it manslaughter. Guns are required t be held at low ready finger off the trigger due to the glocks light trigger pull. Video shows the gun pointed at her finger on the trigger.

The car did strike him and it doesnt even have to. When she resisted arrest and stepped on the gas she created an immanent threat to all agents in the area. Deadly force is now authorized. All she had to do was stop and comply
