I agree it was a stupid move on his part but did he deserve to die for that ? And he never even reached for it. Perhaps it was a automatic reflex to bring it. Here in Nebraska we are also a right to carry state and a resident my town made the mistake of carrying his to the courthouse to renew his car liscence. It was in the newspaper , the fourth se went into shut down mode. He still had to pay a hefty fine. No jail the time was involved. He simply forgot he had it on him. Perhaps that's what Pretti did. Looks like we will.never know the truth in this obvious cover-up.

Congress addressed some of the problems after the Minneapolis fiasco and trump fired Noem so it might be getting better now. Time will tell.

Ok , but " shall issue " amounts to the same thing. Pretti had a permit and was legal to do so. Like I said that's not the issue here. The issue is if a criminal act was committed by ICE or not. Only a jury can decide that and that's what needs to happen IF ICE is ever to regain it's credibility again.
