Even if biological evolution is true, that doesn't undermine creationism or intelligent design. God might be the one who triggered the evolutionary process and then guided it, through various means. Even a Deistic model where God creates a universe with laws that allow life to emerge from the physical elements, is an option.

You're not arguing fin favour of current Christian bible beliefs, you're arguing for another new alternative explanation, that can make creation myths believable alongside evolution's facts. I think that's a wise approach as long as your version can be accepted in this modern world.
