Get D naturally... from the sun... take up Golf...

Many Covid studies showed that all those dying had Vitamin D deficiency .
100% of them
I take 4000 IU daily and regardless am a sun freak .

I was once advised by my GP to reduce my level which was showing 150 -- usual blood test result here is 55 -- 90 as "normal" . Though I showed zero side effects .

In the UK, serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25(OH)D] levels below 25 nmol/L indicate deficiency, 25–50 nmol/L indicate insufficiency, and levels above 50 nmol/L are considered adequate for most adults.

Being over 70, I take supplements too but also follow Ben Franklin's advice:

Moderation in all things - including moderation.
