Who knew that John Kerry and Barack Taqiyya had joined Al Gore’s company of clowns?

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xKTfbhjHwc&feature=player_detailpage]President Obama: 'Climate change is a fact' - YouTube[/ame]

And this:

Fresh from his diplomatic triumph in handing the Middle East over to Russia, America’s buffoonish Secretary of State, John Kerry, took his sad-clown act to Indonesia, where he somehow contrived to link a volcanic eruption to man-made global warming. But that’s not even the dumbest gesture an Obama Administration official has made toward the official government religion of the United States recently.

No, the winning act of devotion to the Church of Global Warming is President Obama blaming drought in California on the Angry Sky Gods. It might just be the dumbest thing any American president has ever said. It’s so far opposed to actual science that Obama might as well have blamed elves and trolls for the drought, and announced a billion-dollar initiative to hunt them down. Not even the more respectable pseudo-scientists of the Church think the California drought has anything to do with global warming.

Obama's anti-science California drought crusade | Human Events

This next article ties Kerry to Maurice Strong. For years, the folks over at Canada Free Press have sounded the “Strong” alarm. These excerpts provide a tiny taste of why Maurice Strong deserves the attention he gets from CFP:

The weirdest thing about John Kerry's weekend speech on climate-change—other than the fact that this is the same guy who in 1997 voted to forbid the U.S. from signing the Kyoto Protocol—is that it begins by quoting something Maurice Strong said at the U.N.'s 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: "Every bit of evidence I've seen persuades me that we are on a course leading to tragedy."

Maurice who?

In 2005 it emerged that Mr. Strong, who was the chairman of the U.N. panel that created the Office of the Iraq Program, had accepted a check for close to $1 million from a South Korean businessman named Tongsun Park, who in the 1970s had been involved in an effort to bribe U.S. politicians. Mr. Strong claimed that the check, from a Jordanian bank, was meant as an investment in a family company that later went bankrupt. Mr. Park (who also sublet office space from Mr. Strong) later went to prison for trying to bribe U.N. officials overseeing the Oil-for-Food program that was propping up Saddam Hussein's regime in Iraq. Mr. Strong was accused of no wrongdoing and has denied involvement in Oil-for-Food. He left the U.N. that year and moved to Beijing.

Draw your own conclusions. Ask yourself: Is this a guy who deserves a shout-out from the U.S. Secretary of State?

XXXXX

If George W. Bush had left office and immediately joined the boards of defense contractors building MRAPs for Iraq, hard questions would be raised. When Maurice Strong, Al Gore and other climate profiteers seek to enrich themselves from policies they put into place while in office, it scarcely raises an eyebrow.

The most cynical part of John Kerry's climate-change speech.

Bret Stephens: Climate Prophets and Profiteers - WSJ.com

I have a sinking feeling that global warming clowns Kerry and Taqiyya are reworking chief clown Al Gore’s “consensus” scam from a few years ago. Remember that one? Gore claimed that a consensus of scientists was scientific proof of manmade global warming. Kerry and Taqiyya do not say the word consensus because Gore”s Garbage was pulverized into dust soon after he said it. Not only was consensus a sophomoric argument Gore’s United Nations scientists had a vested interest is turning consensus into scientific truth.

In 2007, Al Gore teamed up with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to sell global warming to American taxpayers. What a pleasant meeting of the minds that was! Two concerned individuals with nary a selfish motive between them found each other. What are the odds against that!

NOTE: Al Gore stopped running for president after he got caught trying to steal the election in 2000. That’s not the only bit of larceny Chubby Chuckles engaged in. What was the line he used in 2000 when he got caught in the Buddhist temple? Something like “No controlling legal authority.” He must have had it right because he was never charged with anything.

Climatology

Science is much different than hustling illegal campaign donations. It is not so easy for Gore to convince the public of a lie simply by dressing the lie in a clever phrase. Global warming is a fraud as is climatology. Gore, and his Clown Company cannot lie their way around that.

My view is that climatology is only a “science” if you want to be generous. If you are less than generous you might say that climatology is to science what astrology is to astronomy. If you are brutally frank you would have to say that climatology is more a branch of the parasite movement than it is a branch of science. At best, climatology is a pseudo-science with TV weathermen as the scientists.

Gore’s scientific consensus is designer-science conceived by parasites for the dual-purpose of acquiring political power, and joining fellow leeches at the tax tub. Does anyone doubt that environmental bloodsuckers are accumulating political power?

And is there any evidence showing that the parasite movement is slowing down? Indeed, the president and his secretary of state preaching the global warming fraud prove that the parasite class is growing stronger.

Is there any proof that the corrosive nature of the parasite movement is even recognized by most taxpayers? The way it stands now there is little chance that environmental parasites will be driven away from the public feed tub anytime soon. Worse still, the alliance between the clowns and the United Nations has always been an open invitation to foreign parasites to come join their American counterparts at the tax tub.

It is hardly a mystery as to why the parasite movement is so relentless when you count the number of parasites in higher education pumping out endless graduates with a degree in this, that, or the other. I assume a degree in climatology has been added to the list.

The thing about higher education is that it is a gamble for employment. Diplomas in hand, the nimble are sent into the real world in the hope of securing the lifetime incomes they know they deserve. The gamble pays off in many fields. Unfortunately, far too many are being educated for lifetime tenure at the public trough. The parasites in higher education and their spawn are engaging in nothing more than well-paid sloth with a pension plan.

Phlogiston Theory

Centuries ago, Al Gore’s scientific consensus gave the world the phlogiston theory . The following excerpt from a piece by Robert Tracinski’s gives a brief history:

In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, in the early years of the science of chemistry, many serious scientists accepted phlogiston theory. This was an attempt to explain the chemical processes of combustion, oxidation, and metabolism by inferring the existence of a substance call "phlogiston." This theory was wrong, but it was not a totally crazy invention; it simply came too early, before scientists had sufficient evidence to prove a theory of combustion. Phlogiston was only superseded when the great chemist Lavoisier identified oxygen as the substance that is actually responsible for combustion, a discovery that helped pave the way for the development of modern chemistry.

This next excerpt is beautiful in its simplicity in relation to today’s global warming scam:

But imagine: what would have happened if the government had come along and pumped the equivalent of billions of dollars into phlogiston research? What if phlogiston had become a social cause, promoted by political leaders, touted by famous actors, defended by the culture's best writers? What if those who raised objections to the theory were vilified as "phlogiston deniers" and had to worry about losing funding for their research?

Yet that is precisely how today's scientific, political, and cultural establishment is approaching the nascent science of climatology.

The questions posed by Mr. Tracinski are not that difficult to answer. As a matter of self-preservation a phlogiston bureaucracy feeding on tax dollars would have quickly acquired enough authority to get away with manufacturing scientific “facts” as well as accumulating the muscle to silence critics. Does that sound familiar?

Assuming that phlogiston theory would have eventually been disproved by Lavoisier, the phlogiston parasites would have been so entrenched in France’s public trough they would be there in perpetuity. It is easier for literal scientists to cure all of the diseases known to man than it is for scientific truth to drive one parasite away from the public trough.

NOTE: In today’s America plagued by bureaucratic tyranny, how much simpler it is for those with a vested interest in big government to write and enforce regulations than it is to get an oppressive law enacted. I do not know about you but I have never voted for a bureaucrat, nor have I ever heard a proposed regulation debated by an informed public before it was implemented by bureaucrats.

The members of Congress plaster sorrowful expressions on their faces every time they admit to failing in their oversight responsibilities —— which happens every other week. So with all of Congress’ oversight failures, and with bureaucrats and judges making the laws these days just how do our elected sad sacks spend their time? Between unelected bureaucrats and bossy judges it is getting mighty hard to locate individual liberties.

The final excerpt reminds us that the founder of modern chemistry lost his head:

During the Reign of Terror, the French government sent Lavoisier to the guillotine because of his connections to the old aristocratic regime. That is one of history's great crimes against science -- but it probably did less damage than our government has caused by killing climatology with the false kindness of politically motivated research funding.

I suspect that Lavoisier incurred the wrath of phlogiston’s true believers, just as today’s environmental priesthood would behead all who speak out against the global warming fraud.

To mamooth: Of course environmental freakazoids want to distance themselves from Al Gore. So rationalize why you don’t have to distance yourself from John Kerry:

Former Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich took to Twitter to call for Secretary of State John Kerry to resign for calling global warming the “world’s most fearsome weapon of mass destruction.”

Gingrich, a failed Republican presidential candidate, tweeted out his disgust with Kerry’s comments (Note: He spells Kerry’s name wrong in the tweets):

Does kerrey really believe global warming more dangerous than north Korean and iranian nukes? More than Russian and Chinese nukes? Really? ?

— Newt Gingrich (@newtgingrich) February 18, 2014

On his trip to Indonesia, Kerry said that global warming is “the world’s largest weapon of mass destruction” and particularly harms low-lying countries that are at risk from rising sea levels.

XXXXX

But Gingrich, a longtime Republican, is not buying it.

Every American who cares about national security must.demand Kerrey’s resignation.A delusional secretary of state is dangerous to our safety

— Newt Gingrich (@newtgingrich) February 18, 2014

Gingrich ended his Twitter rant by apologizing to former Nebraska Governor and Senator Bob Kerrey for the misspelling of Sec. Kerry’s name.

Gingrich calls for Sec. Kerry to resign over global warming remarks

Gingrich: Kerry should resign over global warming remarks | The Daily Caller

I knew Kerry’s remarks were harmful, but it was nice to see Mr. Newt throw down the gauntlet.

And did you notice that Micheal Bastasch pointed out that Newt was “. . . a failed Republican presidential candidate,. . .” but he did not tell us that John Kerry did get the nomination in 2004 and failed to win the presidency.

Hey, if you can rip off the public and line your pockets with their cash why wouldn't you. That's the elitist collectivist way.

Kiev in the Ukraine is in flames and Secretary 'O State Kerry seems to spend his time pondering global warming. Will somebody in the administration please explain the freaking job to the pompous fool?

Why is this thread in this forum?

To Abraham3: Perhaps a bit more info will answer your inane question.

William A. Levinson’s linked article bowled me over. I would have been satisfied with the title:

Climate Parasites: The Answer to 'Climate Change Deniers'

but there is so much more to feast on. I cannot improve on Levinson’s analysis. I do want to want to add one thing to this reference:

Democrats Sheldon Whitehouse, Harry Reid, and Peter DeFazio also have followed Joseph Goebbels's advice to the effect that if you tell a big lie vigorously and often enough, people will believe it. All have used the phrase "climate change deniers," on websites paid for by the federal government, to spread the message that anybody who opposes the cap and trade scam is a knuckle-dragging troglodyte.

Climate Parasites: The Answer to 'Climate Change Deniers'
By William A. Levinson

Articles: Climate Parasites: The Answer to 'Climate Change Deniers'

I’m pretty sure that informed adults the world over are familiar Goebbels’ big lie. The entire quote is infinitely more telling:

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. Joseph Goebbels

Inability to differaniate what is fact, and what is 'the way things oughter be' is pretty much typical of the wingnut position on any scientific issue, from climate change to evolution. So I can easily see why a bunch of lies wrapped in fancy verbage would bowl you over. You are a wobbly pin to begin with.

Settled science is doublespeak for scientific consensus. Charles Krauthammer cuts it up pretty good with facts in this brief video:

There is a strong of a scientific consensus on AGW as on evolution. Go ahead, give me one Scientific Society, one National Academy of Science, or one major University that disagrees with AGW in their official policies.

And Charlie Kraut's Phd is in what scientific field?

To Old Rocks: Krauthammer is now a journalist. Regardless of his background he is at least as qualified to talk about global warming as is Taqiyya the Liar, John Kerry, and the rest of that crowd.

There is a strong of a scientific consensus on AGW as on evolution.

To Old Rocks: I posted my OP at 12:55 PM. Nothing has changed in 2½ hours. Scientific consensus is still a fraud.

Go ahead, give me one Scientific Society, one National Academy of Science, or one major University that disagrees with AGW in their official policies.

To Old Rocks: Give it a rest.

A key component of the scientific argument for anthropogenic global warming (AGW) has been disproven. The results are hiding in plain sight in peer-reviewed journals.

Politicians and scientists still cling to the same hypothesis: Increased emission of CO2 into the atmosphere (by humans) is causing the Earth to warm at such a rate that it threatens our survival. The reality of our global temperatures, the failure of these catastrophic predictions to materialize, and the IPCC scandals all continue to cast serious doubt on that hypothesis.
