I've been posting data, and so has everyone else on our side, lol... you won't look at it!!!!

I don't like Robert Hansen, I think he's a dishonest ideologue, but I've listened to his arguments.

I even watched a debate sponsored by IQ^2 where they hosted 2 seperate panels of scientists. 4 to each side as I remember.

Of course 1 was the scary scenarios troupe, including Hansen vs. the "skeptical scientists" including Lindzen.

Prior to the debate the audience (decidedly leftwing) cast secret ballots with where their allegiance lay. After the debate, they voted again.

The skeptics crushed the warmists. Hansen came off as a fool.

NOBODY switched to the pro-warming side. Whereas about 1/4 of the former warmists switch to the skeptic side.

Watch it and consider the science presented. I'll bet you can't do it, lol

No, they aren't. They said the glaciers in Glacier National Park were suppose to be gone 10 years ago. They aren't. That was just one lie among many they put out to stir up the deranged.

And so we look at some of Al Gores predictions. All intended to scare the helk out of people so they'll stop driving cars.

Among the predictions Gore made in the documentary is that Africa's Mt. Kilimanjaro would have no more snow on it by 2016. In 2020, The Times reported that the snow on the 19,000-foot mountain remained, despite Gore's predictions.

Gore also predicted that Glacier National Park would be "the park formerly known as Glacier" after all the ice melted away in the blazing hot temperatures that were to descend upon the human race. The glaciers remain

Gore also connected Hurricane Katrina to global warming – later renamed climate change – and he predicted that these storms would become more frequent. The reality of human contributions to hurricane activity is far more nuanced and uncertain than Gore discusses in the documentary. When was the last big hurricane?

It was a true display of the arrogance that pretty much has been part of Gore's persona in public life.

And he should be publicly shamed for it.

Not because he was wrong, but because he was so judgemental.

In the end, we should be good stewards of the planet. But the total freakout this caused (look at the global warming threads on this board) by his hyperbolic bs has pretty much killed the ability to have a good discussion.

NO debate about global warming in this thread.

This is about how Gores predictions did not come true and how his vaunted "truth" turned out to be owl ****.
