How sad is it that Facebook being down for a few hours is national news?

Even the Whitehouse chimed in during their press conference.

Yet some still act as though social networks are not the new public square.

There are people who live and die for Facebook. I'm on FB, but only to stay in touch with friends and family. I'm not a good FB member. I don't tell everybody where I'm at at the exact moment, I don't change my profile picture every week, I don't say good morning or good night every day to my FB friends, I just do it to keep contact with people I would otherwise not see or talk to on a frequent basis.

Never had a facebook account and never wanted one

The trump Nazis were frantic during the outage, they were without their second most trusted source of misinformation and lies. (FOX Noise being the first.)

On the other hand, it’s good that the biggest thing on the news is Facebook being down and not ragheads flying jet liners into buildings.

Progs are funny. Their own propaganda machine that allows their extremism but limits so called Non Prog extremism.
