For several years, those of us across the political spectrum -- left, right, center, and around the world -- have wondered what it would take, and what it would look like, when the True Believers would begin to peel away. Now that several popular former MAGA influencers and regular folks are beginning to publicly wake up, I think we're seeing some early trends.

First, one thing I've hoped for has been that just one or two issues would make them question Trump and/or the movement, and that would cause people to start questioning it more and more. That has happened, with the combination of the Epstein coverup and Trump's War. Eyes are being pried open.

Second, the way many Trumpsters are stepping back is NOT by saying, "okay, yeah, he fooled me, I fell for it, I was conned, I screwed up big". Instead, many are blaming others. On the war, they're saying "Well, Bebe talked Trump into it", almost making Trump the victim. I should have seen that one coming.

And third, I've seen some who have escaped are a little surprised that the rest of us are not congratulating them and welcoming them back with open arms. I don't think they yet understand the damage they've caused, both to the country and to families and relationships. I don't think they understand the scope of the pall they have cast on this country. So they'll just have to deal with this on their own, (or with help: LEAVING MAGA Support Group).

So, I guess we'll see. It may continue, it may not. It may accelerate, it may not. As we've known all along, this will be a process, and some will never escape.

I don't personally believe that Trump himself is guilty of certain things, however he certainly is not helping his case.

I don't remember who it was, but someone has said that he told them that "a lot of my friends would get hurt" if all of the info got out. That's entirely possible, and might be his actual motivation to cover this up.

But as with pretty much everything else, his behaviors and his mouth constantly damage anything he tries to do. Somehow he's not yet figured that out, and no one around him has the balls to say it.

Where are they going to go?

So much of the leftist hate agenda is an attempt to mask their underlying humiliation. Having to watch Biden stutter and mumble through his embarrassing public appearances, the bad policy decisions, the shuttling of his corpse off to the beach while world events needed the attention of a real leader, his endless spending like a drunken sailor and his endless stream of illegals crossing the border and committing crimes against citizens. Biden was weak, barely alert and clearly failed to advance American values and interests.

Contrast that with President Trump who is decisive, bold (and brash) and despite leftist self -loathing Trump has the best interests of the US as his top priority. This contrast is a grinding humiliation for the left so their only objective is to denigrate every action taken by Trump while they struggle to live in the shadow of Biden-Harris, two of the worst examples of attempted ( and failed), governance ever to disgrace this nation.
