Wrong. Republicans vote for Trump in primaries. It's time to stop blaming Democrats for white Americans choosing racism twice. Clinton got more votes than Trump the first time. The second time whites chose to elect a man whose mismanagement of a pandemic ended up killing just over 1 million Americans because of the inflation that came after the pandemic he mismanaged.Ultimately, fools like you voted for him.
But it started with Dems skullduggery. Leading up to 2016 they worked, deliberately and persistently, to put him at the top of the Republican ticket. They figured saddling Rs with someone so preposterously bad would force people to vote for Hillary - even though no one really like her much. They were wrong, and we've all paid the price.
Indeed. Totally agree. Very few voted "for" Trump. They voted "against" Dems. Or at least that's what they told themselves. But our system doesn't allow voters to downvote candidates. You can't rank them or say who you really don't like, or in any meaningful way vote against a candidate.. All you can do is vote FOR one candidate. That's all that's ever recorded, that's all that matters. That's the primary problem with our election process.
Gotta agree there.
The blame for this sits directly on the 57 percent of whites who chose racism even after being warned by members of his first administration not to put this man back in office.
