For several years, those of us across the political spectrum -- left, right, center, and around the world -- have wondered what it would take, and what it would look like, when the True Believers would begin to peel away. Now that several popular former MAGA influencers and regular folks are beginning to publicly wake up, I think we're seeing some early trends.

Yeah, some people are having buyers remorse on trump, that’s a good thing, compared to Dems who who will rally behind their president and follow them down the hole all the way to the bottom.

And third, I've seen some who have escaped are a little surprised that the rest of us are not congratulating them and welcoming them back with open arms. I don't think they yet understand the damage they've caused, both to the country and to families and relationships.

If you let a political candidate cause you to break contact with family members, that says more about you than it does them.

Something I've said a thousand times here is that it's not the the issue or the goal that is the problem. The problem is the way it's being addressed. His behaviors and temperament are simply not going to work in an intelligent, professional, civilized environment. He clearly doesn't understand that the way he approaches things can be a MASSIVE net negative.

So now, Republicans have to worry about the long term effects he will have on their agenda.
