How much do extremely wealthy people owe to the society that gave them the chance to prosper so much?

Yes, you are. Your posts DO reveal that. You just aren't courageous enough to admit it.

I'm telling you outright that I don't believe that. You're gaslighting me and telling me I believe something else. Tell me about arrogance again.

Incorrect. Tbh, you don't appear to have the depth of life experience to interest me with the opinions you've been spoon-fed by whoever "educated" you. Not an insult, just the reality of being in your first year of legal adulthood.

Who are the left wing posters here that are better than me? I'd love to have some conversations with those people. Most of them seem like brainless DNC drones with bumper sticker opinions.

Could you set a lower bar for yourself? My dog is a better conversationalist than most leftists on this board.

And even then, the only major advantage I can see that you have over them is spelling and using complete sentences.

What do you consider yourself to be, politically speaking? You seem to espouse Marxism, knowingly or not.

I also think for myself and have no loyalty to Democrats. If you pay attention you'll notice I am often at odds with their stupidity.

Shouldn’t they pay 8% more on that 1 dollar and not on the total sum?
The tax rate should go down on higher earnings, not up. You've already paid far too much by that point, imho.

I think of myself as a left wing nationalist. If you're going to compare me to other posters it should be the oafs that make up the rest of the left's presence on this forum.

It's not gaslighting to tell you that you're deceiving yourself. I have no desire to make you crazy; I'm actually trying to make you more sane (to the extent that I give a damn either way).

I'm telling you the God's honest truth about what your words convey. Whether or not you like the glimpse of how others see you really isn't my problem. Learning to recognize how you appear to the world around you and dealing with it is part of growing up. Good luck with it.

I believe in my way. That doesn't mean I believe my way is the only way.

Did you vote last month? If so, for whom?

I have no reason to compare you to other posters here.

So they are going to kill thousands of innocent people in order to kill me?

If you're actually a threat to their power they'll go to any length to kill you. How organized do you expect to be able to get? You're delusional. You can't beat the government.

You really need to study history, child. That's what every single revolution ever was told, including our own.

Well you made it sound like there are all kinds of people that you disagree cordially with, people that offer better conversation. Maybe I misinterpreted you.

Several of the teachers said they don't buy supplies for the kids and others do. I know budgets are tight and money is tight but we spend more per child on education than most if not all countries and our results are average at best. So, the issue isn't the money, there are other issues, maybe government and or parents, which money won't fix.

We waste a lot of time and energy on standardized tests. Maybe there's money to be saved there somehow.

So your solution to education funding problems is to stop all that pesky "measuring of whether or not the job is achieved" stuff? Call me crazy, but I would have gone with something like "analyzing the district budget and finding out where money's being wasted." I believe I mentioned the absolutely shitty school district for which I once worked. They made all the same complaints of "not enough funding, no supplies, waaah!!" They also paid their district superintendent the same annual salary as the federal government was paying the President of the United States at that time. (No, I am not joking.)

No, your words mean that. Again, learning to recognize how you present to others is an important part of becoming an adult.

I said maybe there's a way to save money. I didn't say we should stop testing entirely. Stop thinking you know things that you don't actually know. It's harder to learn like that.
