Jimmy Kimmel Brouhaha Is Nonsense!

That was when the coroner declared him dead following 30 minutes of CPR which failed to revive him. While Chauvin knelt on his neck, Floyd went into cardiac arrest. He stopped breathing and had no pulse. The restraint Chauvin used required him to check Floyd's pulse and he didn't.
Floyd was pronounced dead about 1 hour after he got to the hospital. Attempting to deny the official time of death is dishonest.

Chauvin made some mistakes but claiming Floyd's weakened condition from drug overdose had nothing to do with his death is a lie.
Nothing in the coroner's report said Floyd suffered from a drug overdose. As far as fentanyl, the report merely mentions he found 11 ng/mL in Floyd. He never said it contributed to Floyd's death.

That's not true.
The original coroner's report did say Floyd died of a drug overdose but political pressures were brought to bear so it was changed to fit the narrative they wanted to push.

I didn't deny the time of death. I said Floyd went into cardiac arrest while Chauvin kneeled on his neck. Chauvin didn't check for a pulse as he was supposed to and remained on Floyd's neck for a couple more minutes. Floyd's heart stopped, he had no pulse, and he wasn't breathing. Paramedics tried reviving him but couldn't. Then at the hospital, staff also tried reviving him but couldn't. That's when he was declared dead.
