I came across this when I took a couple of people off ignore in preparing a different post.
This was so grossly wrong (and malicious) I wanted to clarify some things.
In this the OP puts up a link to a talk given in a recent General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. The Speaker is Patrick Kearon, a member of the church's Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.
The poster then follows with what looks like statements from Kearon:
The quoted section starts:
"My brothers and sisters, the cult worship of Donald Trump is destroying everything in this country, and making a mockery of the religious precepts you all profess to love. I call you to repent from a political ideology that couldn’t be more at odds with your spiritual aspirations.
followed by a number of statements to this same level of garbage.
Now....I watched this talk when it was given. I was dumbfounded by the quotes because he NEVER SAID ANYTHING of the sort. He did not say anything that was stated by the OP.
I repeate....He said nothing of the sort.
He discussed his experience in the church and how community is so important. He talk about faith and a host of other uplifting topics.
I am going to address some of the follow up comments because I believe people need to know this charade.
I also want people to understand that the LDS church teaches a number of things regarding government. And they also teach maximum liberty. That is why Utah is so ardently red.
Regarding the constitution:
5 And that law of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me.
6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land;
Ezra Taft Benson, the 13th president of the church, had served as the Secty of Agriculture under Eisenhower. He was known for his feeling about those who were communists and sought to destroy liberty. It was an interesting time when he became president.
Benson delvered an address that is not religious but is fundamental to conservative principles entitled "The Proper Role of Government". I highly recommend it.l
The Book of Mormon speaks a great deal about government. In it, there are warnings of what are called secrete combinations (such as cabals and those who are set up to destroy liberty and deny people justice....all in the quest for domination and power).
The current president Dalling H. Oaks, a former member of the Utah Supreme Court, who at one time was being considered for the SCOTUS, has spoken at length on religious liberty (at large interfaith leadership gatherings) and how precious it is to maintaining overall liberty.
The misquotes of the OP are his own. I'll address those later.

THE LDS CONFERENCE EASTER TALK YOU SHOULD HAVE HEARD BUT DIDN’T: THE ANTI-CHIRST IN OUR MIDST

Elder Patrick Kearon
He did not focus on a single apocalyptic “Antichrist figure,” but rather on the New Testament pattern of “anti‑Christ” meaning anything or anyone that opposes Christ or denies Him. Trump fit the pattern. So does Mike Lee and Peter Hegseth.
His message centered on:
