Did you know that Abe Lincoln silenced the supreme court? If you think not, cite cases that were decided. I will post a smidge of help. So why is he still admired. Slavery was decided by the Supreme court as legal. Guess why Abe did not wage war on VA over slavery? He was restrained.

What did Abe say at the time he invaded VA? He did not have good generals. The south with no experience whipped him and I was some years ago on the property he invaded and here it is.

Interesting. Only one USSC justice from the South resigned to join the Confederacy. Two from Georgia and one from Maryland (a union, but deeply divided state) stayed on.

Everytime I see a picture and story like this, I wish I lived close by with a good charge on my metal detector.
