This video blew my mind. Thank you for making such consistent, top quality content.

This video had one of my favorite lines from the 'old' Soviet IMPERIAL era echoing through my head; 'They pretend to pay us, we pretend to work.' 30ish years later and the problem remains the same.

Ukraine better not waste any of the money that they have left from us because, they probably arent going to get any more. No more weapons and ammunition will be coming from us either.

in your wet dreams

Americans dont vote on these matters you imbecile. Its up to Congress to decide that, and the GOP says they dont want to fund it anymore.

The GOP has not said that. Some in the GOP, mostly ardent Trump supporters, have said they might scrutinize the amount of aid to Ukraine and might reduce it. Only the lunatic fringe of the Republican Party has said it will end it, but these people hold no power within the Party.

No, he called you a blithering idiot.

“I’m very supportive of Ukraine,” McCarthy said. “I think there has to be accountability going forward. … You always need, not a blank check, but make sure the resources are going to where it is needed. And make sure Congress, and the Senate, have the ability to debate it openly.”

Back in May, Congress approved $40 billion in aid to Ukraine, and so far only about $18 billions of it has been spent. The debate was lively and the bill passed with strong bipartisan support. That's all McCarthy is promising.

The guy who will be the Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Cmte. urged the Biden administration to give ATACMS, which would allow the AFU to strike the Kerch Bridge.

The $18Bn that has been provided so far is separate from the $40Bn in the Lend-Lease, which Biden does not need Congressional approval for.

Even if McCarthy refused to introduce a funding bill- the Senate would just add it on, and the amendment would survive conference because the rest of the legislation was something the House repubs wanted, and there isn't enough of the GOP "defunders" to block passage in the full house.

Support for Ukraine will continue. They will probably not get ATACMS, but I am hearing buzz about a 150km version called ER-GMLRS that is either in Ukraine already, or will be shortly. These are designated XM403/404 depending on unitary or AW, and are being purchased by Australia and Lithuania as well.

There is also another HIMARS munition developed that extends the range beyond the standard GMLRS, This was a joint project between Boeing and Saab that took the M26 rockets and replaced the submunition warhead with a GBU-39 SDB. That also boosts the range to 150km because the SDB glides to the target.

From the west bank of the Dnipro, either one of those will reach bases deep in Crimea (but not the Kerch Bridge).

There are a bunch of the M26 rockets in Europe that can't be used because of the convention on cluster munitions, and that's a cheap way to make a longer range precision munition from them.

Russia is territorially disadvantaged because they have more land area than any other country? So they have to seize more territory from their neighbors to what- level the playing field?

Makes perfect sense... :cuckoo:

They know they've lost, they just don't know how to deal with it.
