Unidentified drones, the size of a car. flying over New Jersey for HOURS AT A TIME. Our "leadership" does NOTHING.

I doubt that, he's not an engineer for starters.

Drones are like electric cars, they've been allowed to spread across our society without sufficient rules. Now we have these idiots flying stuff and the authorities are baffled and we have driver less taxis running people down and nobody does anything about it, not Rep or Dem they just don't care, this insane exploitation and money making goes on no matter who gets hurt.
No. Elon's degrees are in physics and economics. But he has built the world's most well known and best selling electric cars and has put almost 7,000 Starlink satellites in orbit using the spacecraft that he has built to do it. I'm pretty sure he has engineers that could build a drone big enough, strong enough, and capable enough to capture other large drones.

Here's 3 good reasons to do something about these huge drones flying over New Jersey.

1. They could be equipped with sophisticated data gathering/spy equipment.
2. They could be equipped with weapons.
3. They could fly into the path of civilian aircraft.

Apparently our military/Pentagon thinks that protecting air space and American citizens is not that important. New Jerseyans should start shooting them down.
They could be an urban myth

Till someone shoots one down we wont know if they exist or not

Musk did not start Tesla or invent anything. Rockets were invented already by Goddard in 1926 and satellites were invented by Arthur C Clarke.

What's stopping Musk from offering services? they're probably SpaceX drones anyway FFS.

Shooting a drone is a serious crime, FAA will come down on you like a ton of bricks. I know because I wanted to do this where I live but sadly was not allowed to. Even firing a gun up into the sky is a crime.

OK the latest hypothesis is hot off the press - the Ruskies...

If they were Space X drones he would have already publicized that. And I don't know whether anything is stopping him. Do you think it is his responsibility? Or the government now in power?

Unbelievable .

Orbs and Fast Walkers mistaken for Drones .
And one bright old chap even suggested that "We " fly above and net them .

I look forward to the first time one of the craft broadcasts a message :-
" Go back to your TVs Sheeple . Meet us on Ancient Aliens "

No, I'd never want to be an American.

And we would certainly never want you to be an American, either.
But I live here and work here and pay taxes here and have the same rights as anyone else here.
You have many of the same rights. Not all, you fucking imbecile.

Please consider moving. America would appreciate your absence.

He despises the government in power, so this is a great opportunity to embarrass them and offer SpaceX expertise - why hasn't he I wonder...

Elon is amazing. He just became the first man in history to surpass $400 billion in net worth, this after losing his #1 spot for awhile after buying Twitter.

But he is a very busy man with a LOT on his plate at all times plus he is donating a LOT of his time and expertise to help the American people by dealing with the inefficiency, waste and corruption in government.

I think we can forgive him if he doesn't see it as his responsibility to take on mystery drones as well. (Though again, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't looking at that.)

They aren't drones.

"

Mysterious New Jersey are manned aircraft being flown lawfully, White House says

National security spokesman says there’s ‘no evidence that reported drone sightings pose a public safety threat’"

If they exist, and if they are foreign origin that would be worrisom

But we just dont know
