Unidentified drones, the size of a car. flying over New Jersey for HOURS AT A TIME. Our "leadership" does NOTHING.

A Drone the size of an SUV or larger could have Hours of fly time and a range of 100-300km

Right, which is not a long time or a long range compared to a balloon.

And something that size is not going to be undetected, or be operating inside a Mode C area without a transponder unless the operator wants to lose it.

When I was flying, I was told that if I busted Seattle's Class B, I could expect the FAA to meet me when I landed and pull my ticket. I never tested that, but it was known to happen and not all that infrequently.

Remember back when we were developing stealth? There were all kinds of reports of "black triangles". UFO's that no one had any explanation for, the gov't had no idea what they were, etc.

It is the lack of interest from the gov't that makes me think these drones are not a real threat...
