The left strives to remind blacks of past cruelty and it's like they want to keep that alive. Obama especially irks me because he wants us to forget about 9/11, yet tells blacks that the fight isn't over as if they are still being denied rights.
In the same way that the left refuses to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants, they also refuse to distinguish between good and bad people. For instance, they portray all black victims as innocents who were murdered because they were black. They won't acknowledge the cases where black criminals were killed in self-defense. We saw that with Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. There are currently protesters in Wisconsin angry at a police officer for shooting a black guy. Never see the left or the race baiters waiting for facts. They gin up anger by pushing the narrative that it's all proof that racism is everywhere and blacks don't stand a chance. Then we hear speeches, like Obama's at Selma, where he says they are still fighting, as if equal rights don't exist and will never exist until we cede more power to government.
Newsflash- blacks are just as smart and successful as whites. Blacks can be just as wealthy as whites. It's not a black and white thing. Look at those who are living a comfortable life and ask what the common denominator is. Much of the time, you'll see that the people all are typical Americans who finished school and have always held a job. Why are so many minorities living the American dream alongside the whites? Clearly, their race didn't slow them down. I submit that it's attitude that prevents people from succeeding, and not the attitude of any racist. It's their own attitudes that determines how well they will do.
The left wants a villain to blame for every person who lives in poverty. Someone took something from them. Someone didn't allow them to succeed. The world hates them because they are black and there is no other reason for their failure. Ignore all the whites in the same boat who don't have someone else to blame. So, because American is racist and greedy, the work started at Selma isn't done yet. Unless that work involves being honest with people and insisting that they look to themselves as a solution to their problems, it's all a bunch of bullshit. The left is all about victimhood when they should be about honest talk and solutions.
I don't want to hear another person, of any race, say that their misery is someone else's fault unless someone else actually did something to them to ruin their life.
Employers won't give you a chance? Are you qualified to work? Do you at least have a high school diploma? Do you have a history of working? Do you avoid doing drugs? Do you have a clean record? Do you look presentable when you show up to apply for a job? If the answer to those is 'yes', then maybe the company is racist. If the answer if no, then you are the problem with your life. Other people aren't privileged, they just have their shit together. Those who reject the idea that their skin color or gender automatically makes them a victim tend to do just fine.
