not very much different. One is a pro-white group and the other is a pro-black group.

Both of these groups talk about why they're critical of the other.

Of course, based on the evidence, data and reality these Selma idiots are plain wrong.

Yeah, jigaboos don't deserve equal rights.

Yes, everyone deserves equal rights. Why is it always the left using derogatory names?

Thing is, the discussion on equal rights should include everyone. It's divisive for the left to constantly separate people and act like each group only cares about their rights when the truth is that we all have rights or none of us have rights. It's not selective. When whites are excluded from talking about equal rights for all, the implication is that all whites are guilty of not granting them. We have a black caucus, a Hispanic caucus and other groups that act like each group must be treated differently and that each group must fear other groups. That is the problem in this country.

The Republicans made sure that black have equal rights despite the Dems fighting them on the issue. Equal means just that. To take groups aside and talk about white privilege and other nonsense is merely a means of keeping people divided.

Some might as well hold signs saying that Selma is a black thing. There really are people who don't get it and it is the left that cannot see past color. Race is behind all of their decisions because they can't just look across the country and see people as individuals. They introduce affirmative action and Black History Month in a way that is meant to be a slap in the face to all the privileged whites out there. Then they wonder why division continues to be a problem.

Liberals need enemies to supposedly protect people from and you can place blame without dividing people. Divide and conquer is the oldest method of gaining control over a population and the Dems have practiced that for years.

Racial division will end when politicians and race baiters stop pulling people apart by using language that is designed to anger one side and shame the other.

There is a reason why the liberal media is all over white on black violence, especially when it's a cop. By ignoring the other crimes, they can highlight the handful of cases and make them sound like a widespread problem rather than the random events that they are. Those watching liberal programs might be unaware of the other crimes committed every day that would make people realize that blacks are not under attack.

When we can separate criminals from law abiding, we will have a clearer picture and it won't be a racist one. If we divide people by good and bad, both sides will be diverse.

Yes they do - and so do whites but thanks to affirmative action that's not how it works. The govt helps blacks and persecutes whites.

I read about that Just shows how biased the press is though i think Bush was an idiot for being there. Whites should not stick up for blacks. They don't defend us.

The klan hates blacks and the selma loons hate whites?
We are all proud of what blacks accomplished in the 60s. It should be celebrated. If only young black people appreciated it enough to show up and fucking vote every 2 years.

The left strives to remind blacks of past cruelty and it's like they want to keep that alive. Obama especially irks me because he wants us to forget about 9/11, yet tells blacks that the fight isn't over as if they are still being denied rights.

In the same way that the left refuses to distinguish between legal and illegal immigrants, they also refuse to distinguish between good and bad people. For instance, they portray all black victims as innocents who were murdered because they were black. They won't acknowledge the cases where black criminals were killed in self-defense. We saw that with Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. There are currently protesters in Wisconsin angry at a police officer for shooting a black guy. Never see the left or the race baiters waiting for facts. They gin up anger by pushing the narrative that it's all proof that racism is everywhere and blacks don't stand a chance. Then we hear speeches, like Obama's at Selma, where he says they are still fighting, as if equal rights don't exist and will never exist until we cede more power to government.

Newsflash- blacks are just as smart and successful as whites. Blacks can be just as wealthy as whites. It's not a black and white thing. Look at those who are living a comfortable life and ask what the common denominator is. Much of the time, you'll see that the people all are typical Americans who finished school and have always held a job. Why are so many minorities living the American dream alongside the whites? Clearly, their race didn't slow them down. I submit that it's attitude that prevents people from succeeding, and not the attitude of any racist. It's their own attitudes that determines how well they will do.

The left wants a villain to blame for every person who lives in poverty. Someone took something from them. Someone didn't allow them to succeed. The world hates them because they are black and there is no other reason for their failure. Ignore all the whites in the same boat who don't have someone else to blame. So, because American is racist and greedy, the work started at Selma isn't done yet. Unless that work involves being honest with people and insisting that they look to themselves as a solution to their problems, it's all a bunch of bullshit. The left is all about victimhood when they should be about honest talk and solutions.

I don't want to hear another person, of any race, say that their misery is someone else's fault unless someone else actually did something to them to ruin their life.

Employers won't give you a chance? Are you qualified to work? Do you at least have a high school diploma? Do you have a history of working? Do you avoid doing drugs? Do you have a clean record? Do you look presentable when you show up to apply for a job? If the answer to those is 'yes', then maybe the company is racist. If the answer if no, then you are the problem with your life. Other people aren't privileged, they just have their shit together. Those who reject the idea that their skin color or gender automatically makes them a victim tend to do just fine.

There is no difference. The toast of the town in Chicago is the Jackie Robinson West little league team. The all black little league baseball team. This team discriminates against non-black kids. It REQUIRES the player to be black, even though there are white, hispanic and Asian kids with the district that could make the team. Imagine if a team in the suburbs called themselves the Babe Ruth North Team and specifically required the player to be white, what would people say?

This team is a disgrace to Jackie Robinson's legacy. He was about abolishing the race and color discrimination, yet the team in his "honor" openly discriminates!

I don't listen, but apparently you do. I wrote what I believe from experience. The race baiting in this country is shameful and does nothing but divide and anger people.
