So I was on a wonderful date with this Russian lady tall and beautiful. How about that a woman who is about 5 foot 10 blonde hair she’s just incredible. But she was saying that in the European countries and that in Russia they get about 13% taken out of their paycheck each week. And they also get four weeks vacation. But when she is working here in America for her German company she only gets two weeks vacation.

And, every time democrats want to tax the rich more, it isn't to pay down on the 32 trillion dollars we've borrowed, it is so we can spend even more money. Democrats seem to believe that the debt doesn't matter because we have a fiat currency and never have to pay down the debt, only make interest payments on the debt. So, I ask again, why tax people at all? Why don't we just charge 100% of our expenses on to the nation's charge card and forget taxes altogether?

They had to lighten cars up to meet the ever rising standards, so enter plastics, unibody construction, and vehicles shrinking. Rolled steel to the auto industry has dropped significantly since the late 70s, even as new vehicle sales have risen.

AUTO MANUFACTURERS NOWHERE NEAR PEEK EMPLOYMENT-------------> Lotsa reasons. 1. Ever hear of robotics! Ford, Chicago Assembly had 3200 workers; hourly and salary running 2 shifts in 1973, meaning over 1600 per shift, building 52 vehicles an hr, running 10 hrs per shift on both shifts before the economy collapsed. In 2020, total plant employment was around 1000, running 2 shifts, building 74 vehicles per hour.
2. AIR QUALITY STANDARDS! Seems to build a NEW vehicle plant and put the smokestack tech in to pass state and fed standards, is CHEAPER than retro fitting old plants. (why, I do not know) This is why all OLD Ford plants had their states offer massive tax incentives to stay put, to help pay for the smoke stack retro fit. Problem was, they didn't need all the old plants, since with the increase of production of almost 1/3 with modern tech, they could close many of them, streamlining their operation. When they did build NEW plants, they built them in South America. Why? Many reasons, but one that is pertinent is------->those countries didn't force them to install the new, expensive, smoke stack tech! And so, the union lost all of its cache, as the auto industry shrank in employment numbers.

BECAUSE I WAS IN THE INDUSTRY OVER 30 YEARS, PEOPLE ALWAYS ASK ME WHY AUTOS ARE SO HIGH! Forgetting that auto companies are greedy for a moment, let me tell all of a tidbit------------> The last meeting I attended was somewhere around 2006, so this has certainly gotten worse! At that meeting, they had a power point presentation that showed how much the price of each vehicle was INCREASED by having to meet government regulations, from CAFE standards on down. At that time, the price tag was 7200 and change. No, I did NOT mis type that; it was seventy two hundred, and change! This is exactly why marketshare is sooooooooo important to auto manufacturers. The more units they can sell, the more units they can spread the costs of these regulations or R and D across to meet them, meaning less cost per unit.

Now the government wants ELECTRIC VEHICLES, lol! What do YOU PEOPLE think that costs to develop, and do NOT think for an instant that the R and D for them is just built into the electric vehicles; it is placed on ALL their units, so even buying a gasoline car, you are still being forced to pay for the tech to run the electrics, because that is what the government wants, even if at the moment at least, consumers don't! It is akin to back in the day, of how Ford was FORCED to sell 2 or 3 Escorts at a loss, to sell one Crown Victoria, because if they did not do it that way, their company could NOT meet government CAFE standards for the year, and people wondered why the Crown Victoria was so high!

I believe I read where Ford lost 2 or 3 billion with a B this year, because specifically due to their electric vehicle research. So as you can see, government intervention in the free marketplace, hurts manufacturing, even if the government does not directly own the firms they are over regulating. I am 100% positive that due to this, any specific hot selling model from trucks and/or Mustangs just went up, and if you buy one, YOU are paying the freight for the governments over reach, although you probably were not aware of it!

I believe in helping the workingman I come from the middle class and I recognize like many Americans that today’s Democratic Party has gone way too far to the left. Take this threads topic …we almost never hear Democrats talking about lowering taxes for the middle class or bringing us back the types of manufacturing jobs that we had throughout the 20th century.… instead many Democrats are dividing us with Racial discussions, abortion, complaining about Donald Trump, white supremacy, white privilege, iow talking about things that doesn’t help anybody… things that don’t lower the price of homes or lower the interest rates for home loans which are at 7 % but we’re at 2% when Trump was in office.

People can’t blame Trump for various countries of the world recently getting rid of the US dollar when it comes to foreign trade. You can’t blame the coronavirus on that. That’s just bad leader ship by America … other countries of the world are losing confidence in the United States.

Either Joe Biden will have to improve and bring us a better country or we’re going to hope different leader ship does ….
