The film’s producers informed Mississippi Film Studios president Rick Moore that the law was a deal-breaker for Stone. The unnamed film project reportedly tackles the consequences of cyberbullying. James Cromwell is slated to direct. “Unfortunately, Sharon Stone feels strongly that shooting in Mississippi is not an option while the law exists,” Moore said. “The other producers have chosen to regroup and find another location.” Moore said he has heard of projects on the...

I saw this on the news today..

Bryan Adams cancels Mississippi gig over 'anti-LGBT' bill

Uh, has anyone informed Sharon Stone she's an old has-been? So.... nobody really gives a shit that she cancelled. I have no interest in any of her movies.

So ANOTHER liberal retard has agreed to stay away from our Southern states (where I live)??? All because of the freedom of religion bills????

YES!!! THATS AWESOME!!!

When was the last time she made a movie anyone actually watched? The last one I can recall is Casino.
I don't think that I have even seen any of her films.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. What I find funny about the way that these "celebrities" choose to respond to the law being passed is them thinking that their choice to boycott the area will actually have any kind of real impact on the area. To me, what they are doing is just like someone quitting their job. When a slot becomes available, it will be filled by another person eventually. When all is said and done, the show will go on. The question is will they ever learn that they have no real leverage?

There is no need for ‘religious freedom’ laws, the notion is ignorant idiocy.

The First Amendment affords all Americans comprehensive protections of their religious freedom.

The 14th Amendment jurisprudence of which Obergefell is the progeny applies solely to state and local governments, not private persons or organizations – no pastor or church can be ‘forced’ to accommodate a same-sex couple in marriage.

This moronic law is predicated on ignorance, fear, and bigotry.

The Freedom of Religion clause is for the People. Forcing a person to violate his religious beliefs is unconstutional. The morons and bigots are gays and the neoQueers..

Missippi, a red state that collects federal support because the taxes are less than the put in, does not need the millions of dollars and all the jobs that come from the film and music industry. They will continue to collect welfare from the blue states who put in more than they receive back. That still will not make up for all the citizens who are having their incomes reduced and missing out on jobs and the businesses that will suffer.

It's amazing that an issue that was completely off the radar just a year ago to the vast majority of Americans, is now so important.

You'll now be compared to Hitler if you believe people should use rest rooms based on the sex they were born to.
God I hate the left.
