I can't. That's the problem and I KNOW I can't. Does he really want to be mocked and all of his supporters because the democrats are currently laughing at us and they have every reason to as well.

Don't defend him--you can't defend the indefensible. I really dislike his personality, but I agree with his policies re: the country. His mouth is his own worst enemy. I thought that Rubio and Vance might be able to reign him in, and they have in relation to his first term, but they could be a bit more effective. The JC tweet was just plain idiotic.

I disagree with Trump on HOW he presents/does many things, but they seem to work for him, he is the only one getting anything done, and I've come to terms with the fact that Trump isn't immature, but just very BLUNT, direct, a man who wears his thoughts and feelings on his sleeve. I may not always agree with his style but I welcome his honesty over that gotten from other presidents.

Don't you think that it's ironic that you believe he is being blasphemous and depicting himself as Jesus based on the claims of people who regularly mock christianity and judaism (never Islam, though)?

Before the Trump administration, my belief about reposting things on social media was that it meant, "hey look at this," not "I fully endorse what I now repost."

That is still my belief, because the only people pretending you can never repost anything without fully endorsing it are those looking for reasons to trash Trump.

If I cannot convince you that Trump in no way meant to say that he was somehow Jesus himself, could I at least convince you to let it go and enjoy how well Trump has done on your top three issues?

Jesus himself was very big on letting things go. Not that I am at all claiming to be Jesus.

1. I NEVER considered Trump a true Christian
2. I don't judge non-believers by the same standard I judge those who CLAIM to follow Christ

4. I generally let God judge people in circumstances such as this.
5. I didn't vote for a religious leader but a president
6. I judge you much more harshly than I judge Trump because you make claims he doesn't
