Sorry about the lonnnnngggg delay again. Life got in the way. I sure hope that you all had a happy Easter. I'll be perfectly honest with you all though. I'm not sure how long I'm going to be sticking around. I was going to go back to posting again but I currently don't know where I stand in politics.



I mean I still can't stand the democrats. (Progressive not old school) and I still love Trump's policies, but after his depiction of himself as Jesus Christ I'm really starting to get sick of him. He's starting to give the democrats reason to mock him and MAGA now and to be honest I'm even really embarrassed to be back here now because of how I ALWAYS used to defend him.

I share your disappointment with some of Trump's antics lately but don't it get out down. At his heart and soul he cares about America and is the best President we've had in decades.

Oddly enough, they hate him for the same reasons that all those democrats hated him before they ran off.

Hate to break it to you but a whole lot of people wore robes and did healing, in the bible and everywhere else, including Jewish Rabbis and Roman Emperors.

In the Bible, there are several instances of healings performed by individuals other than Jesus:
Apostles: The twelve apostles were empowered by Jesus to heal and cast out demons, as recorded in Matthew 10:1 and Mark 6:12.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having integrity. Very few politicians have integrity, and when you see them being oily flip floppers, there is no shame in calling that out.

Folks that stood by elder Bush after he went back on his "no new taxes," look foolish.

Folks that stood by Obama after he betrayed folks on his promises around closing Gitmo, reigning in the intel agency spying on Americans, and his promises around keeping their doctors, likewise look like fools.

The number of policies that Trump is now standing with the deep state are legion. From the Epstein car wreck, to no new wars, to standing with the deep state on the FISA law renewal, he has become the flip-flopper in chief. Honestly, I don't understand why the left doesn't love him now.

Politicians and governments always want the state and its rulers to be the god of the people.

I will say this, there are many folks on this forum that think for themselves, do not just repeat partisan taking points of one side or the other, and do have integrity. They don't post as much as the parrots do, but they are here, and have been for a long time.

I was going to reply to MB's post, but since you tagged me I'll say it here. I was going to say, his post (#34) was the best post I've seen all day, especially the point that there is no shame in having integrity... I applaud you (and a few others here) who have the cajones and honesty to simply disagree with Trump for once, instead of making excuses, as always. Sometimes you kind of remind me of the little boy in the Emperor's New Clothes story.... who just speaks the truth plainly and calls the emperor out, instead of sticking with the herd at the expense of truth. I admire that, no matter who it comes from.

That's okay! It is almost impossible to get other posters who used to like Trump but now they are ashamed of him to answer any specific questions about their former support for the orange man.

So if the moderator's close this thread before you have a chance to answer a few questions, I can ask them again when I see you on other threads.
