Insurance is risk based.

If the risk goes up so will the rate.

And California is not friendly to insurance to begin with (it's a money losing proposition even without AGW).

The other point....as Stossel pointed out over a decade ago.....they'll stop building where houses can get washed away with frequency or blown over by hurricanes when the government stops rebuilding them.

What is an ICE AGE?

Most apparently still believe it is a terrifying horror movie event where Earth all at once freezes up. The data has never supported such a scenario. Since 2010, there has been a massive effort to re-write Earth climate history into a series of rapid "glaciations" and ice retreats, as if "Day After Tomorrow" movie is accurate... LOL!!! What was North American Ice Age before 2010 is now spun into a series of rapid "ice ages" where it took a mere 75k years for the "ice age" to start in Northern Canada and put 2.5 mile thick glaicers on Chicago. This is "Milankovich"...

Science does not care about "asshole," science cares about data and theory, and proof and refutation. It does seem like Faux News is pumping out a lot of complete morons who accept "warming" that does not exist.

You may have a point: it's not just the climate/weather, but the losses, which is a human factor. But that doesn't change reality. The build-up in value coupled with the unpredictability of weather makes for less certainty.
