First of all the authors are an actor and a journalist, yet they make claims like they were facts. They are not scientists yet they say things like:

"The U.S. has contributed more heat-trapping pollution than any country over time and has been the prime driver of global climate change."

Yet they provide no numbers.

"Whenever presidents or Congress have introduced measures to slash emissions to avoid the most catastrophic effects of climate change, they've been repeatedly derailed."

Not one single example of a so-called catastrophic effect. Not one.

And they are writing in 2021 with 40 years behind them. Can they produce anything that shows the last 40 years of hysteria were right? They don't even try from what I can tell.

The article says that Exxon disavowed the statements. That was the articles words, not Exxon's. They either left them out, they were never said, or that was the authors interpretation.
