Others might observe that we have not heard the last of RCP8.5. Its gross misuse is likely to be given a starring, central role when the history of the Great Climate and Net Zero Scam comes to be written.

No, the majority of scientists did not expect another ice age in the 70's. In fact, most were worried about the greenhouse effect, but the data and evidence at that point was not great enough to be certain about the warming. By 1981, the evidence was in, and Dr. Hansen published it in an article that made predictions and gave the math.

If you keep it strictly about the science, the opposition either has to actually engage your reasoning or make an obvious retreat. Why give them an easy out by making it political from your end?
