Has anyone ever been to the Redwood Forest in Northern CA?

If so, how many day(s) should I allot for a careful visit of the forest? Can one see much of the highlights by simply driving through in an open Jeep or does one need to do the Ranger tour????

It's a wonderful place, Candy. Awe inspiring. Magnificent example of Mother Nature. Take 2 or 3 days.

I'm from the PNW. I've seen many, many great forests. Preserving our natural environment is essential to the survival of our own species.
