Publix has great customer service, but they are high. Have you tried Aldi's?
Yeah, Publix is pretty much the highest-priced grocery store around here.
I did try Aldi's. Once. To say I was incredibly disappointed and unimpressed would be an understatement.
I didn't know that you had to "rent" a grocery cart for 25¢, and I didn't have any change on me. I went up to a cashier and asked for change for a dollar, SO I COULD SHOP IN HER STORE, and she refused my request.
WTF?
The main thing I wanted to check out was their steak selection. I'd heard it was fantastic. Well, all they had were prep-packaged bacon wrapped filets. No New York strips, no porterhouse. Nothing.
Also, the lighting in my local Aldi's is very, very dim. Sorry, but hen I go grocery shopping I want to be able to see what I'm buying. I don't want mood lighting...
