"GOP 2.0" Launches

While I admire these Republicans for trying to stay and fight rather than start a third party, this seems a little quixotic to me.

Who knows. Anyway, good luck, folks. Your party and its embarrassing conspiracies are hurting this country.

The should have just spun off.
They're in a no-win position. If they spin off, they lose their massive infrastructure. If they stay, it's David vs. Goliath.

This is gonna take a while, for sure.
The tRumpling party will absorb them without a burp.
The Republican party has their tongues up your a**es. The nation keeps moving left. It is difficult to be a Republican because it is promoted as uncaring and mean and then the 4 letter words by the people in control. The founding fathers warned us about this. "See if you can keep your Republic". Well the passing of the Federal Reserve Act has led us to here. If we kept that Act under control it would be different. But politicians started to give things away and start massive social programs. Democracy became the way of the land instead of a Republic. Look how we vote now. If you Progs did win the 2020 election it was for pure personal selfishness in getting free stuff with the politicians/actors/media pushing the hate agendas to the max. It took a long time for Repub voters to become aware what is happening. The Party is not responding to them. And if they did not lie to their own voters this would not be happening. But many are beholden to something else. You see how some leave.
if it wasnt for the federal reserve act, we would need some billionaire to bail out the banking system every time it crashed.
This was proven in 1907 when JP Morgan had to bail out the banks.

But you might take note of the Reagan quote on their homepage

“ The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and ally - not a 20 percent traitor.”
I agree with that

Its the holier-than-thou blue nose republicans who forgot it

The GOP base held their nose and voted for McCain and Romney because of the 80/20 rule

But then our candidate won the nomination in 2016 and the well-fed GOP swamp rats in washington failed to live up to the contract
I'm not sure what you refer to that the gop congress didn't give him. McConnell warned him that he didn't have 50 votes to "repeal" Obamacare. And there was never a replacement. What happened was exactly what Reagan and Obama agreed: once you give the middle class an entiltlement it will never be taken away. Simply put, republicans would have lost their seats if they repealed Medicaid expansion.

Even here in Miss, it was up for a popular vote, and would have passed - despite the legislature and governor for years saying no. But the gop just killed the entire intiative and referendum process. LOL

I suppose that means they're poor examples of sheeple and would never fit with the rest of the Republican party of Trump.
They are poor examples of the Reagan 80/20 rule and have been since 2016

"Left" is progress. We are far behind other first world nations.
No, Left is tyranny of Communism.

I cannot disagree about the difficulty of taking away an entitlement

But there were other issues that did come to a government shutdown showdown a republicans fails to stand fast behind trump

And for a variety of reasons

Some were worried about the russia collusion hoax

Others were afraid of the lib media

But some were just pissed at an outsider in their hive

Well I dunno, but there's no doubt that Trump represented a gop brand voter that some senators and reps did not. And really the entire 4 years rang hollow to me because the only substantive legislation was the two tax cuts, neither of which really helped me all that much, and without any doubt added to the debt my kid's generation gets to "inherit." And the party of Reagan is dead.

Can you define "communism"?
Communism is the final stage of Marxism

In a communist system the state has total control over all aspects of the society - cultural, economic and above all political

The old soviet union and mao’s china came the closest to that

Communism is preceded by socialism which is a loose term with many different expressions

But all sharing a common goal of utopia by government supervision

Nazi Germany for instance

Or post war france and great britian where government took over and managed many private companies and industries while widely expanding the welfare state

Great! Name two or three communists in government, and provide quotes of them proving that by saying they want "total control over all aspects" of the economy - production and distribution.

Communism does not always follow socialism, but I don't think you said it did. And not all socialist economies are totally socialist. But both systems share the economic theory that the govt most efficiently allocates resources in at least some market.

Bernie's a 1970s tool who even honeymooned or vacationed in the USSR. But I'm not sure that even AOC buys that crap. But even back to Lincoln's era (and maybe even Jefferson) the govt did influence markets for land and slaves. So, we've always been a sort of mixed system. No doubt that the 1930s say an expansion of govt influence.

They have a 3rd alternative, you know. They can join up with their anti-Trump allies in the Democrat Party and take a stand. After all, they supported the anti-Trump forces in 2020 and were successful. Why not keep a winning (from their perspective) combination?

Anyone w/half a functioning brain could see this coming for decades now. What a crap show.

#LOLGOP #TooFunny #CLASSIC

I doubt any never trumpers like the ideas of infrastructure being expanded child tax credits or health care centers.

Why would you doubt that? They supported those ideas with their votes and efforts last year and their support of Sleepy Joe.

They may talk the talk against that kind of liberal boondoggle, but they aren't walking the walk, so I doubt their sincerity

Since I have never called anyone on the US government a true communist I am unable to feed your troll effort

But I’m not acquainted with the political beliefs of everyone in washington so I wouldnt rule it out either

A far greater threat are the socialist do-gooders who want to rule society in more subtile ways

And there are plenty of those

Because they have strong policy disagreements with the Democrats.

Obviously.
