I own my own business and have pre-existing conditions. I was able to get good insurance even at that before Obamacare. Yes, it was more expensive than Joe Shmoe's insurance who had no pre-existing conditions. Once Obamacare went into effect the costs rose up so much that I could no longer afford insurance and my wife had to go out and get a job to get health insurance for us, because I own my own business and don't have health insurance with it.
