Generally when a study says "Could" it is usually followed by an "If". At that time the "if" was "if the current warming trends continues the way it has been.....

No doubt he is a huge fear monger when it comes to global warming but he always said could, never would, and almost always highlighted the worst case scenarios in all the studies he cited.

Have you ever noticed that EVERY so called "study" trotted out by the climatologists uses those words? Do you know what real scientists call those words? Weasel words, they are also extensively used by charlatans. Scientists use words like "shall", "will", and "we observe".

Charlatans, palm readers, and of course climatologists use the words "could", "suggests", "may", and "might".

Do you understand the difference?

No reputable scientist would claim with certainty any distant prediction about the future based on modeling and speculation. The charlatans are the publications like the ones you posted that make dishonest claims because they fit the far rights anti-science agenda.

Look up J Tuzo Wilson next time you wish to learn something about how real scientists operate. That is the very essence of the scientific method dude. You make a MEASURABLE PREDICTION. If the observation doesn't comport to your prediction, your hypothesis is a failure.

On the other hand, if you're a climatologist, make NO MEASURABLE predictions, and those that you were foolish enough to make in the past, ignore with as much vigor as possible, and alter the raw data to support the failed predictions when you can't deny them.

All of which the climatologists have PROVABLY done.
