The Warmist theory that requiring the purchase of Carbon Credits somehow appeases Mother Gaia and convinces her to keep it cool sounds a lot like the theory of indulgences from the Middle Ages when folks felt that buying indulgences could reduce the temperatures in Purgatory.

Let's not prejudge, let's have an open debate where all scenarios are considered.

This "debate" (which is actually denial on the part of conservatives) has been going on for decades. The time for debate is past. AGW is the reality. The discussion now is the appropriate response.

Actually, the libs have refused to debate for decades. Indeed, they NEVER debated it, and as a result most Americans think its bullshit. That's why Obama didn't send the Paris Accords to the Senate for ratification and Slick Willy never sent the Kyoto Protocols to the Senate either back in 1997.

We are past debating. Now is the time for action.

Its a democracy, so you still have to debate and convince the people that action is what they want to do.
