The left has constantly been accusing naysayers of being anti-science, but turns out it is they who dismiss science to push this purely political bullshit.
The global warming crowd isn't affected by the growing scientific evidence that disputes their belief. Despite more and more experts coming forth and saying that once the junk science is removed, the problem disappears, the alarmists still want to take drastic action. Of course, that action won't affect the climate in any measurable way, but it will redistribute trillions of dollars over time. It is being pushed by those who stand to gain - a LOT - financially and they have managed to scare enough people into supporting them without question. It's one thing to take care of the earth, but the solutions being offered are more about wealth redistribution than the environment.

"Climate change has become a powerful political force for many reasons," he said. "First, it is universal; we are told everything on Earth is threatened. Second, it invokes the two most powerful human motivators: fear and guilt. We fear driving our car will kill our grandchildren, and we feel guilty for doing it. Third, there is a powerful convergence of interests among key elites that support the climate ‘narrative.’
"Environmentalists spread fear and raise donations; politicians appear to be saving the Earth from doom; the media has a field day with sensation and conflict; science institutions raise billions in grants, create whole new departments, and stoke a feeding frenzy of scary scenarios; business wants to look green, and get huge public subsidies for projects that would otherwise be economic losers, such as wind farms and solar arrays."
"Fourth, the Left sees climate change as a perfect means to redistribute wealth from industrial countries to the developing world and the UN bureaucracy."
Dr. Moore continued,
"So we are told carbon dioxide is a ‘toxic’ ‘pollutant’ that must be curtailed, when in fact it is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, gas and the most important food for life on earth. Without carbon dioxide above 150 parts per million, all plants would die." "

This is purely about taking total control of all energy sources. The government is already underway with their plans to control healthcare and food. Once they have energy, it's all over because the few will control the masses. One world order.
I have a feeling that if the far left was able to control the whole world, we would have true communism and live in compounds while the leaders continued to enjoy the freedoms we currently take for granted. All wealth and property would be seized and doled out as they see fit. There would be a monorail as the only travel option for the people. Only government-approved radio and television shows would be available. People who openly criticized government would mysteriously disappear. Religion would be abolished. People would have to apply if they wanted children and most would be denied. Forced sterilization would be routine. One of the radicals in Obama's cabinet wanted to put sterilization agents in our drinking water. Gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling, eh. The leaders would continue to live in mansions, travel to their heart's content and dine on the finest cuisine while the rest of us would live in controlled environments where we had to get permission for everything.
