I would like to get them something I can order online and have it sent directly to them.

I can't think of anything though.

Sorry to hear of their situation, I did not see this reply before I posted my tongue in cheek response.

If it is a sensitive situation send something unique and from the heart. Something they would associate with your friendship, it does not have to be expensive.

I usually do send cash so they can buy something "fun" or help with getting some take-out.

But I wanted to get something more personal.

I usually do humorous gifts, but two deaths in the family and having a hard time at work........I dont think "funny" is appropriate.
