How do we wind up with these people running things?
The mayor's plan for Chicago, to increase tourism, is to raise the hotel tax by 19% on guests.

That makes me want to go to Chicago to experience the warmth of collectivism!
The Sears Tower is pretty cool, but I think I'll pass.

Yup. That's democrat/progressive thinking alright. I guess it never even occurs to them that tourists aren't exactly wanting to visit with over a hundred murders there every week.

Just don't take a walk near the Lake Michigan waterfront. Don't want to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and get shot by someone who SHOULDN'T be startled.

Costs money to go up there. Save your money and go to the bar at the top of the Hancock bldg. and spend it on a drink while you enjoy the same view.

Democrats are destroying their cities and states with taxes
well if you still think there is no fraud in elections, this thread should help explain it.

You're probably safer in Iran carrying an American flag while chanting "death to the Ayatollah" than you are walking around a Democratic run city in America like Chicago.
LOL, tell that to the 33K dead Iranian citizens who have been murdered by their gov't this year for protesting as well as the 19 yr. old wrestler.

The Iranian government has been reported to have killed over 36,500 protesters during the January 2026 crackdown, making it one of the deadliest incidents of repression in history. Estimates vary, but figures from health officials and human rights organizations suggest that the death toll could be as high as 30,000 to 36,500 in just a few days of violence.

ChiRaq is no different. The sanctuary status is the local government telling their citizens we own you!!

It hasn't had that name in years. It is the Willis Tower.
