U.S. Vice President JD Vance said the talks with Iranian officials in the Swiss ‌mountain resort of Buergenstock laid a good foundation for a final accord and that Tehran had agreed to allow nuclear inspectors back into the country.

But Iran denied it had begun discussions on its nuclear program at the talks, mediated by Qatar and Pakistan, and said it had not agreed to invite back International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors.

WOW! Which liar should we believe? This is a real conundrum. Do you believe JD, who is playing a tune to one person or do you believe Iran who also lies with impunity? Just very confusing. Oh, and is the Strait open?

History says that you'll go with the terrorists over the Vice President of the United States.

The Strait of Hormuz Ship Show: Week 16 Update

Jun 21, 2026 What's Going on With Shipping - Maritime Industry Today
The situation in the Strait of Hormuz has escalated into what can only be described as a "ship show." Following a brief moment of hope for a ceasefire and the reopening of the waterway, the emergence of the Persian Gulf Strait Authority (PGSA) has thrown maritime operations into chaos.

In this Week 16 recap, we break down the conflicting signals: while the U.S. declares the "Southern Highway" open and free for transit, Iran is asserting authority over the entire strait, demanding new "insurance" clearances that many in the industry view as a protection racket. We look at the data from Marine Traffic to see who is actually sailing, which ships are turning their AIS off, and why major carriers like Maersk remain cautious despite the diplomatic "14 points."

Your link starts with "trump says" That should be enough to doubt that the story is true.
