The mayor's plan for Chicago, to increase tourism, is to raise the hotel tax by 19% on guests.

That makes me want to go to Chicago to experience the warmth of collectivism!

Would there be zero impact on the city culturally or economically if the Cubs, Sox, Bulls, and Blackhawks also moved to Hammond, Indiana?

The days of inner city sports stadiums are gone. Expensive real estate, limited parking, high taxes

Billion dollar stadiums are now built on the fringes of the city or metropolitan area and still bear the name of the major city.
