Fascism is a broad and somewhat poorly defined concept; the numerous definitions of same have several generalities in common:
  • A populist movement which places nation and race above the individual,
  • A central, autocratic state headed by a dictator
  • Strong economic and social regulation by and within the state
  • Organized state suppression of the opposition

There's no fascism in the US, creeping or otherwise.

Indicted but not convicted. You need evidence for a conviction.

That's not at all necessarily so - it is perfectly possible that the evidence presented to a grand jury is enough for a conviction.
Possible… but not certain by any means . Few prosecutors will stop at the evidence used to get an indictment ,which has a far lower standard than a conviction

Interestingly, that's exactly the situation in Ukraine right now; and every leftist in America is head over heels for it.
