Former BLM Leaders Speaks Out About "Ugly Truth" About Group

Again, it's not that you haven't successfully gamed the letter of the system.

So has your neighbor who rents to HUD people.
So has the lady who has six kids by four different men to collect benefits.

You can't whine about "Communism" on one hand, and grab you some government benefits on the other.

I can if I paid into them my entire life unlike many social programs users such as HUD and SNAP's. Those people use those programs they will likely never pay a dime for. When I was younger and healthy I worked my entire life; sometimes two and three jobs at a time. When I developed medical issues that made it difficult to work, I continued to work as long as I could. I expect everybody to do the same. And while I got my sick old ass up every morning at 5:00 am to support the young healthy HUD people next door and all across the country, I did it anyway, even though with some initiative, I probably was qualified for disability years ago.

I worked until the day government told me I could no longer. It was not my decision like people who go on other social programs such as my former neighbors. Like me, they had the option to not have children. Like me, they had the option to work. Like me, they had the option to learn a trade. Like me, they had the option to invest their money for their future. They had (and still have) options. I don't.

Only a moron would pay auto insurance their entire life, and when their new $30,000 car is totaled by an uninsured driver, pay for their injuries and replace their car with cash. It would defeat the concept of insurance.

Yep. And the potential attacker knows that as well.

That you are a racist crazy person? I'm sure the whole neighborhood knows that.

I can if I paid into them my entire life unlike many social programs users such as HUD and SNAP's. Those people use those programs they will likely never pay a dime for.

Actually, they probably will because many of them have jobs while they are on these programs and MOST will only be on it for a few years.

Come on, Ray, either you are for socialism or you are against it. Your hypocrisy can only stretch so far. Socialism for me but not for thee doesn't fly, buddy.

Really? Did someone bring your ancestors over here in chains and subject them to centuries of slavery and discrimination. You know, you get here and whine about what the government "did" to you, when in fact, they were looking out for public safety, but then you kind of blow off what we as a country have done to people of color for centuries, and are still doing to them.
Like me, they had the option to learn a trade. Like me, they had the option to invest their money for their future. They had (and still have) options. I don't.
You got plenty of options... but as I said, you are a guy who is happy being unhappy.

Only a moron would pay auto insurance their entire life, and when their new $30,000 car is totaled by an uninsured driver, pay for their injuries and replace their car with cash. It would defeat the concept of insurance.

Here's the problem with that analogy. Your Car insurance has limits. it has deductibles. If the Accident was your fault, you'll pay a higher premium. If the accident wasn't your fault, you'll STILL pay a higher premium going forward. (Something I am finding out, having had my first accident in something like 15 years)

That you are a racist crazy person? I'm sure the whole neighborhood knows that.

Good. Then they'll be so scared of me they'll leave me the hell alone.

Actually, they probably will because many of them have jobs while they are on these programs and MOST will only be on it for a few years.

You don't understand our tax system. You should read up on it sometime. Taxes are not just taxes. You pay X taxes for X things. I don't support our military through property taxes. Property taxes don't go to anything federal or state. Just like all other social programs outside of payroll tax are funded through Income Tax, which nearly half of our (lower income) people don't pay and never will.

Come on, Ray, either you are for socialism or you are against it. Your hypocrisy can only stretch so far. Socialism for me but not for thee doesn't fly, buddy.

By law I must have auto insurance if I drive whether I want it or not. If I get in a serious accident, I will submit my claims to my auto insurance company because I was forced to pay for auto insurance all my life. It doesn't mean I agree to it, but if you pay into something all your life and one day need it, of course you collect. You'd be an idiot not to.

What happened to my ancestors has nothing to do with me. If I'm going to blame my ancestors for my life today, then it's a cheap excuse for me not accomplishing anything and my irresponsible actions. My father could tell you stories of him growing up that would make you cry. He joined the Marines and spent a year fighting in Korea partly to experience having three meals a day, something he never had growing up. How my father grew up is no reason for me to rob stores and banks. That was his life. I'm responsible for my own. My only good fortune is that I had great parents that did have an impact on my life, but that doesn't take money to do.

I have no idea what that has to do with what we are discussing. When you get insurance, they give you a contract outlining everything you are entitled to. When they amend your policy, by law, they have to send out statements informing you what those amendments are. You as the insured have the option to buy a better policy that covers more, or you can save money by having the state or bank minimum (if you have an auto loan out).

Uh, guy, get real. That they play a shell game through taxes and you really think that poor people aren't paying as much tax as you are is silly. When Bush stole the Social Security Surplus to pay for his war, and now General Fund is having to pay back that money through more borrowing.

YOu used a bad analogy, that was the thing. You are comparing your Disability Fraud with a claim on an auto-accident.

It doesn't matter how much they pay. Most people get their payroll tax back, or support local services. Your city tax goes for city services. Your state tax goes for state services. You get your SS money back when you retire. You get ten times more back from Medicare if you live the average US lifespan. So in a sense, it's not really taxes at all, it's more like a pay as you go and retirement plan.

Our federal government however are supported by federal income tax. It's federal income tax that gives us everything else our payroll taxes don't.

YOu used a bad analogy, that was the thing. You are comparing your Disability Fraud with a claim on an auto-accident.

The similarity is they are both required whether you want them or not. Nobody asks you if you want to contribute to Social Security, you are automatically on it when you work. Same with FICA and Medicare. Anybody who runs the numbers knows damn well that they would be better off financially if all that SS and FICA money was handled by the private market. The federal government would never allow that because then it gives them less control over all of us.

Except it's nothing like that. If you make 40,000 average a year with a working lifetime of 45 years, your personal contribution to Medicare was $500 a year or $22,500. An average cancer treatment is going to cost $170,000

Same thing with Social Security. If you retire at 65, you are going to get everything you paid back in by 73.

The difference has to come from somewhere. It wasn't an issue back in 1960 when only 9% of the population was over 65 and people only lived 69 years on average. It's a big problem now that 19% of the population is over 65 and they live 79 years on average.

Why do you think Paul Ryan was so keen to push granny off the cliff? She might insist rich people pay her.

Actually, no, you wouldn't. You'd have probably been wiped out in the crashes of 08 or 01 or 81. Warren Buffet does well on the Wall Street Casino, the rest of us, not so much.

But you ignore how many don't make it to retirement age. My next door neighbor died from lung cancer at 65. She got it in her early 64's. I'm sure she got some help somewhere along the way, but nowhere near what she contributed when it comes to social security. I got some FB friends that I went to school with. Several of our classmates died within the past year. Kind of depressing really.

I've had an IRA for 25 years now. It's done fantastic good or bad. Investing your own money? That can get you into trouble. However if you have a very reputable investment company handling your financial affairs like I did, you do pretty well. It's worth the maintenance fees they charge at the end of the year, which isn't all that much.

The majority of people make it to retirement age... Sorry. That's why we have an AVERAGE life expectancy of 79 in this country, so many people are making it past 79 to balance off against the ones who die early.

Again, you live in a slum and you collect welfare. You can't be doing that good.

Yes, they may make it to retirement age, which is currently 66 I believe. But some die at 67, some die at 70, some die before they have a chance to collect. Just in auto fatalities alone, we lose over 40,000 people every year, and many of those are younger to middle-aged people. We lost 90,000 a year just in overdoses. Those are the people who got nothing back, which makes up for the people that got more by staying alive up to the national life expectancy level.

My retirement age was 67, although I had plans to retire at 62. But if I were to work up to the age of 67, there is a good chance I wouldn't have made it to 67, and if I did, probably not much after that.

Again, you live in a slum and you collect welfare. You can't be doing that good.

You'd be surprised. I wouldn't say I'm doing great, but I'm not doing bad either.

So it's okay for you to malinger now and cheat the system, because you weren't taking good enough care of yourself to last that long?

You'd be surprised. I wouldn't say I'm doing great, but I'm not doing bad either.

Not from what you post here.

You hate your neighbors
You carry a gun around with you because you are scared
You are on welfare
You spend your nights listening to police scanners.

Shit, if lived like that, I wouldn't want to live to 67, either.

So it's okay for you to malinger now and cheat the system, because you weren't taking good enough care of yourself to last that long?

Nobody is cheating anything. You just don't possess the intelligence to understand that in spite of people posting links refuting your claims. Like a typical little commie, you close your eyes and ears because you don't want to know the truth. You wish to live in your own little make-believe world. :lalala:

A lot of people hate their neighbors, and most suburban people hate their HUD neighbors.

I carry my gun if I take a walk, when I make a bank deposit after dark, leaving or coming home after dark. People here don't attack others with fists or knives, if they attack you, it's going to be with a gun.

I'm not on welfare, but again, you lack the education to understand that.

Why would you want to live to 67 with the severe mental problems you have? If I had your mental disabilities, I wouldn't want to live past tonight.

Again, when you are in a wheelchair, you can come back to me and tell my you are 'disabled". Anything else is malingering

The one thing you never wanted to be counted as in the Army was among the "Sick, lame and lazy".

Um, yeah. I carry money on me all the time, because before Trump Plague hit, I was in a mostly cash business. Never felt a need to carry a gun on me.

Why would you want to live to 67 with the severe mental problems you have? If I had your mental disabilities, I wouldn't want to live past tonight.

Having a good laugh at your expense is not a mental disability, Welfare Ray. I guess it would make me kind of mean, because you're a victim and you don't even realize it.

The army gives applicants a physical and anybody that passes is young and healthy, just like I was at one time. You don't set the criteria for disability, the government does. If you don't like it, contact your representative and tell them about it. The entire federal government is under Communist control, so you should have no problem changing it.

Um, yeah. I carry money on me all the time, because before Trump Plague hit, I was in a mostly cash business. Never felt a need to carry a gun on me.

Then don't carry one. I could care less. You not carrying a gun doesn't bother me a bit, but me carrying a gun disturbs your already disturbed mind.

Having a good laugh at your expense is not a mental disability, Welfare Ray.

Severe obsession is. Look it up, it's called Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

ob·ses·sion| əbˈseSHən | noun

* the state of being obsessed with someone or something: she cared for him with a devotion bordering on obsession.

• an idea or thought that continually preoccupies or intrudes on a person's mind: he was in the grip of an obsession he was powerless to resist.

I've been out of work a year and a half. You've been bringing up my situation nearly every discussion we've had since. You need professional help. You telling me you don't have a problem is like the drunk that's at the bar every single day and night claiming alcohol is something he could quit anytime he wants.

The Army doesn't give you lifetime benefits if you fail a physical.

Again, I congratulate you on finding a system you can manipulate, just like your HUD neighbors.

I wouldn't do it. I have too much pride and self-respect.

But you do you, man.

Yes, guy, I bring it up because you keep attacking all the other welfare queens.

Just like I'd make fun of the whore who points out all the other sluts who get more customers because they aren't ugly and worn out.

Here's the real problem. What really irritates me is people who benefit from living in a liberal society and then bitch about living in a liberal society. For instance, there's this guy I grew up with, works for the City of Chicago as a garbageman, makes 70K a year, and basically repeats Right wing talking points on Facebook because he listens to Hate Radio all day in his truck.

When I point out to him that if Republicans ran Chicago, his cushy city job would be replaced by private contractors like we do out here in the Burbs, where they make 17/Hr if they are lucky, he gets very upset.

Now. Politics is about making the world you want to live in, not voting against the people you hate. The GOP used to be a party of ideas. Now it's a party of getting stupid people like you to vote against your own self-interest by playing on your racial, religious and sexual fears.

You said it all right there. Yes, I benefit from things I pay into unlike my HUD neighbor, people who irresponsibly had kids they could never afford in the first place, people who have a world of options to them. The government didn't ask me if I want to be part of this, like you said, the Democrats forced this on us when they had power. If it were up to me, I would have taken all that money in cash, invest it with a private company, bought more rental property, and wouldn't need any disability because I probably would have been able to retire ten years ago.

I had no choice but to be part of this liberal system you bring up, so the least I expect is for them to live up to their end of the bargain, and they did. Now that they did, you're complaining you don't like it. In fact you probably want more social programs like free college and healthcare. And if that came about God forbid, what are you going to do, complain about any Republican that gets that education and healthcare you pushed for because they didn't support it in the first place?

You people are such hypocrites it's almost like a comedy show.

I would if they weren't actually sick and weren't interested in learning anything....

Uh, yeah, in this racist society, not so much. But point is, mots people on HUD are only on it for a few years, then they go on to be taxpayers.

Guy, you live in a slum. You didn't do well with the 70% of your money you got to keep.

Not income tax payers so they never pay it back.

I'm doing just fine thank you. I got a couple hundred grand in my IRA account, I own real estate that's providing me with place to live for free plus a profit, My parents are still alive which is unusual for a person my age, and I come from a great family. Best part is, I have no severe mental problems.
