We so far have nearly all christians responding on this thread claiming they are partial believers and backsliders.

Let your strong faith trump the mocking and derision you know you will face from your fellow Americans. The god isn't going to accept compromisers and believers of convenience.

I am a true believer in GOD and HIS word as found in the Bible.

Thank you for your reply! You're far from being alone and so the purpose of this thread is to bring out the true and complete believers in their god and their bibles.

Your faith obviously gives you the courage to unflinchingly face the cruel ridicule of atheists and backsliders such as Meriweather, ding, and a lot of the others. They fail to understand that any and all bible stories can be reconciled by the fact that the god can do anything and everything.

For example, this makes the 6000 year old earth theory possible at the same time that a 4.5 billion year old earth is well known reality.

The true potential of this thread will only be known when true christians like you begin to provide examples of how both science and the bible can be the truth.

Can you carry the conversation on in greater detail for the benefit of some other believers who haven't yet found the faith and courage to speak out?

Well, I believe that GOD is revealed through HIS Word and through Nature. And certainly science can help us understand nature to a limited degree, as does the Bible help us to understand GOD to a limited degree. However, both depend on spiritual enlightenment to be fully appreciated. That said, it would seem apparent that people who are attempting to ignore GOD, will not reach a fully correct understanding of either the Bible nor Science.
