Do you people now understand what I am trying to tell you? Judaism provides the basis and fundamental rules for the Monotheist teachings. God expects the Jews [His “Chosen People”] to follow more than 600 commandments. That is what He chose them for. THAT is what “the chosen people" means. THAT is God’s requirement for the Jews. But God has decreed that every non-Jew need only adhere to Ten Commands. That was God's will before Jesus was even born so this "one way" makes no sense. Quite simply EVERYONE of every faith has the opportunity to come to Heaven.

Noahide Law vs Mosaic Law. Jews were a people chosen to be set apart from the rest of the population due to the fact people are easily influenced by unholy ways. The 600+ laws you mention came about because Jews who were serious about keeping the Mosaic Law (Ten Commandments) had questions on how to properly keep the Ten. This made them a lawful, disciplined people.

New Testament scriptures note/teaches non-Jews (early Christians) were only required to follow the seven Noahide Laws.

New Testament states God redeemed the world and that the Way of salvation is open to all.

The debate is on what "following Jesus Christ" means. If your only intention is to gas light Christians then go on with jerking yourself off. But if you are interested in honest dialogue then you might want to consider what "following Jesus Christ" means in actuality and how that actuality is made manifest.

But if you are only interested in gas lighting Christians, you should know that I gas light back. And considering the abysmal state of intellect coming from the atheists on this board, me gas lighting you back will be like taking candy from a baby.

And before you go on about how un-Christian this is, I agree. But the thing about free will is that I have a choice to do good or be a butt reaming asshole. And as long as I don't rationalize what I am doing is good and just - which I won't - then my ledger stays balanced and I accept whatever consequences that may come my way and respond by saying... worth it. So what's it going to be? Honest dialog or a butt reaming? Your call.

Once again, I don't know what Christians you speak of. Recall that the majority of Christians are Catholic/Orthodox, and we have an entirely different take on it than some non-Catholic Christians. Shrug.

This is the fundamental difference as I see it between Christianity and Judaism. "Going to Heaven" is not based on how you conduct your life and treat others in Christianity. It is all about belief and total acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. In Judaism, "Going to Heaven" IS based on how you conduct your life and treat others and does not recognize Jesus as God.
