So, if it gets a party win, divide the country. Awesome.
Not for me. Thanks. I am an American.
As am I. I've been a Republican for over 20 years. Why is it I feel increasingly unwelcome in my own party? What has changed? I'm not interested in what the Democrats are doing wrong. I'd rather focus on what MY party is doing wrong.
I'd say that pandering to the fundmentalist zealots was bound to sooner or later come back to bite the GOP on the ass, for one thing.
Because the masters of the GOP should have known that sooner or later their social agenda was going to alienate
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many Americans.
I liken this mistake to the tactical error the Dems made when they elected to get in bed the
radical feminists back in the 70s.
That cost the DNC the presidency and brought us the REAGAN years, in my opinion.
In my opinion the GOP has become arrogant.
Mitts 47% quip is a good example of that.
I mean seriously...it's one thing to feel that way, but entirely another thing to SAY that in public.
