Fearless leader to address the children

Okay, I've said enough on this. But it should be clear to everyone that education at all levels, academic and socially, is more important to me than health care. If people aren't educated enough to understand that basic necessity, and thus they will ignore its importance, they will never understand the health care issue.

I have now received confirmation from 14 of 19 school districts contacted in my region that there will be no viewing or associated assignment with this Obama message. Two of those 14 originally indicated support for the collective district assignment on Obama's message. A few calls to school board members and now those superintendents have changed course. It should also be noted that six of these districts had no idea there was such an Obama assignment! :)

We continue to work on the other five districts who have yet to respond directly to the issue...

Yes, this is a far different tone than the actual lesson plan packet sent out to teachers by the Department of Education.

Another moment for this administration to scramble backwards from its arrogance.

At present, they can do nothing right.

I made a direct call to the State Superintendent of Public Schools (State elected position) today and finally heard back about 20 minutes ago. He admitted to knowing very little about the program! He had heard earlier in the day I was on the warpath and surprised I did not call him first. (Actually I did) He's a good guy, but the fact he had no idea that the President of the United States is issueing lesson plans for all K-12 teachers...that is a bit troubling.

Maybe he was not altogether truthful regarding that, and was now covering his own butt from a swell of unhappy voters...

Can't wait till Tuesday when we can review with Mr Sinatra how President Obama actually "indoctrinated" these poor students with liberal concepts such as:
- Studying hard
- Respecting your teachers
- Setting goals
- Reading
- Reaching your objectives

I know these concepts are foreign to conservatives. Thats why they don't want schoolchildren access to the tools that may make them successful

How's the planning for the book burning party going?????

At what point did students not become Americans? Could be the future leaders of our country need a jolt so that they will be able to answer the simple questions someday.

but, taught from both perspectives not one that is scripted!

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno - The Best of Jaywalking - Video - NBC.com

Look where hes jaywalking ... CA, but it does remind me of the shitstains followers durning the election.

There are hundreds of Leno's "jaywalking" segments. But CA being the state with the most diversified population, it's a good cross section. OMG, there were even some black folk who didn't know the answers!! As usual, however, you totally miss the point. These young people apparently graduated from high school and can't answer simple questions that used to be taught in Grades One through Six? Like how many stars on the U.S. Flag? It's depressing.

I didnt miss the point ... just pointed out another.

Oh yeah, speaking of da chillun, explain this:

"I am happy to be very clear how we enforce mandates for children, and the reason is because children don't have an option." -- America's Most UnAmerican President, Barack Adolph bin Hussein Obama

You really are quite dumb. How do children exercise "options" before they reach maturity?

That's not the point, Freddo! WHY THE **** IS THE GOVERNMENT TELLING US "CHILDREN DON'T HAVE AN OPTION"!!!!!

Every day Libruls morph further into mindless North Koreans or good state citizens of the Cambodian Killing Fields

Students can: "Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president. These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by a teacher to make students accountable to their goals."

^Hey, A15... You like this from ANY President, or just Obama?...

:)

peace...

I'm indifferent about the issue ... my whole point is that like it or not, it's not anywhere near a big deal that some people are making it and the level it's been taken to is ridiculous. They went straight to ludicrous speed and now it's gone plaid.

There will be those of course who will minimize this - but if it had been Bush and CO - they would be rightfully outraged then as well.

I spent over a decade teaching at the college level - with much of that time helping implement (trying at any rate) reform at the 9-12 grade levels as the colleges were getting swamped with students who could not perform the historical entry level courses.

Those three years travelling the country doing that research and working with educators, activists, and politicians, really opened my eyes to how bad the K-12 system had become - and one of the greatest instigators of the downfall is at the federal level.

The only real good that came out of the experience is that I was able to be listed as a contributor to a national textbook that has had multiple editions. Those checks are kinda nice - even if the textbook itself turned out nothing like I wanted it to. That is a tale for another time though. It also allowed me to generate a considerable network of influential contacts, particularly in my own state, so when an issue does arise, such as this Obama indoctrination attempt, I can call up people within the education system and raise a bit of a ruckus.

We were successful in doing just that today...

And that has what to do with giving Marching Orders to Teachers for before, during and after the Supreme Leader, for the FIRST TIME in our History, Addresses School Children Collectively like this is Cuba?...

And again, what he is Backpeddling on and my Suggestion...

National "Sick Out" on September 8th for Students...

If Barry Intends on Speaking as Supreme Leader to ALL of the Children in Public Schools on the 8th and Giving out Propaganda "Suggestions" to Teachers Leading up to the Event, then I Think it's a Fair to Employ one of his Constituency Group's Tactics... The Labor Unions.

Call your Kids in Sick.

From the Propaganda being given to Teachers on your Dime:

"What is the President trying to to tell me?"
"What is the President asking me to do?"
"What new ideas and actions is the President challenging me to think about?"

"What do you think the President wants us to do?"
"Does the speech make you want to do anything?"
"Are we able to do what the President is asking of us?"
"What would you like to tell the President?"

Students can: "Write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president. These would be collected and redistributed at an appropriate later date by a teacher to make students accountable to their goals."

Not "what"... "WHY"?... What in the Hell is Obama doing?

:)

peace...

Rick Roberts, on 760 here in San Diego, is asking parents to keep all children home from school on Sept 8th, regardless of whether the school shows the speech or not. He says all patriotic, American loving parents will do so.
